Dr. Phil Says He's Not Exploiting Brit -- Again!

Dr. Phil told pretty much anyone who would listen a couple of weeks ago that he shouldn't have talked about Britney Spears after his much-blasted visit to her hospital room, and that talking about it wasn't helping.

Well, there was the bald blowhard again this morning, squawking about the whole affair to Matt Lauer and Diane Sawyer, saying -- again -- that he shouldn't have issued the statement, and that he hasn't said "one syllable" about what happened between him and Brit at Cedars. Except all the time he's logged on "Today," and "GMA," and ...

It just happens that his 1,000th show is coming up sometime soon.

2. Someone tell this moron we stopped talking about what he did to Britney a while back. I cannot believe he is so disappointed with the fact that the recent media lash from his irresponsible and unprofessional antics has died off and so HE is bringing it back up again. HEY PHIL, DROP IT. WE DON'T CARE.

4. So what if it is the 1000th show? Geez, get real, it is the "entertainment" world right? Everyone in the entertainment business (including TMZ) are in it for the notoriety, publicity, money, etc., etc., etc. I applaud him on one comment he made, about that fact he doesn't mind someone talking about him but at least just get it right. All too often the media twists things so much is difficult to sort the truth from the fiction.

That's the problem... He may have a show on TV but he is a doctor, first, and an entertainer, second. He, like you, must have the two confused.

6. funny throwing the dr under the bus - who exploits this woman everyday? - oh, and makes a fortune from it? It's a classic play -- point the finger over there to protect your own culpability.
Here's to holding up the mirror so you can view your own responsibility.

7. "Bald blowhard" describes him perfectly. How did this overbearing, Picasso-faced faux-shrink get such a platform for his idiocy? Oh yeah, THANKS FOR NOTHING OPRAH!!!

8. Did anyone ever think that Dr. Phil might have actually helped Britney? Hey, it's only my opinion, but her family is now supporting her again, and she's also been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Not everything that comes out seeming bad is actually bad. The next thing she should do is get rid of the boyfriend. He's in it for the fame, glory and cash. She's just too messed up to see through his lies.

11. I've lost all respect for Dr. Phil for he's simply tapping into the ratings cash cow that mentioning Britney's name creates. Mention the girls name and the ratings sky rocket. For a psychologist he seems oblivious to two crucial things! The motive and behavior of the paparrazi and how they fabricate and exaggerate stories for huge profits. 2. That every time he jumps on the bash Britney band wagon he's endorsing the rumor mills, and making the staulking worse for Britney.

In reality he has abandoned his profession and is becoming a discredit to all reputable Psychologists.
