Kidd Slammed with Grope Suit, But No Charges Yet

Jason Kidd and his million-dollar hands got slapped with a lawsuit by the New York woman who's been alleging that Kidd groped her at a tony Manhattan nightclub.

The woman -- ID'd only as Jane Doe in the suit -- claims in papers that Kidd "battered and assaulted" her on the night of October 10, grabbing her crotch and butt, in addition to verbally threatening her. The allegations had been made in October, but no charges have yet been filed by the Manhattan District Attorney's office. When we called today, the D.A. had no comment. The suit itself seeks unspecified damages.

Kidd's lawyer earlier called the suit "nothing more than a brazen and defamatory search for a payout."

7. Not surprising. Jason Kidd seems to always get into trouble. Hasn't he always shown a lack of respect for women? The girl sounds like she's trying to get rich off of this, but in my opinion, he seems like the type who would definitely do something like this.

Yeah. The poor guy. Never mind about the alleged sexual assault on her person. I guess that's all the 'break' he'll catch, apart from her lawsuit, which she'll win if there are witnesses or clear evidence to support.

14. Some of your comments are just ridiculous. Jason Kidd is like 35 years old constantly hanging out in these night clubs with a bunch of kids, and you all wonder why he can't "find a good woman" or why gets himself into these messes. He obviously doesn't want that. He just wants to party.

There have been rumors for years that Kidd gets crazy when he drinks, and I wouldn't be surprised if he was drunk when he harrassed this girl. Face it, Kidd has been in trouble quite a few times for his behavior towards women. Ironically, it seems that his obsession with females is what gets him in trouble in the first place.

15. Kidd, along with all these other NBA plyers, actually all professional athletes, need to stay the hell out of these night clubs! It's the price they have to pay for being rich and famous. They think they can hob-nob with regular people but alcohol usually become an issue, along with pride and at the heart of the matter is usually afemale with a pretty face and a big butt who is making eyes at one of these stars and their male friend gets angry and jealous and then all hell breaks loose. I've actually seen this happen a few times myself. One NBA player actually sent his gofer over to our table at a disco to tell a female who was sitting with us that he wanted her to join him at his table. Nevermind that this female's husband was sitting next to her. We had to restrain her husband from confronting the NBA player after this went down. These guys are so concieted and arrogant they think that all women want them, Granted, there are women out there looking for this type but not all of them.
