Warrant Issued for Daniel Baldwin

We had such high hopes. *sigh* L.A. County Superior Court Judge Scott Millington has just issued a no bail bench warrant for Daniel Baldwin, for his failure to appear at a progress report hearing that was scheduled for 10:00 AM this morning.

We're told Baldwin is currently in Toronto shooting a movie. Problem is, he is not supposed to be out of the country without the court's permission. And you guessed it -- he didn't have it. The judge also revoked Baldwin's probation.

A report was submitted in court today by Baldwin's probation officer, indicating Daniel also missed an appointment on December 5, and has missed several A.A. meetings.

The second oldest Baldwin brother was arrested last year for possession of drug paraphernalia and for being under the influence.

63. I, too, had high hopes that Daniel would overcome his demons. Obviously, he only gives lip service to the AA program.

Alcohol will whup his ass! The only way he can win the battle, it to surrender, to a higher power. It's a paradox: He has to surrender, to conquer!
He has to have the desire to stop drinking. Until that happens, he will continue his downslide, until he quits, involuntarily. How? By death, or by the law! But he will quit!

I love the guy. That's why I had such high hopes!

65. Way to be an idiot. Judges don't waste time issuing warrants if the sitch is "no sweat". What an irresponsible arrogant turd. I hope he likes confined spaces.

69. OMG. Another celebrity was busted for drugs. The horror!
Personally, I don't really anyone needs to know because, well, it is his problem, and everybody knows that celebrities are just like us, only more people know that the exist.

I hope he gets the therapy that he needs though.
