That was the point I was making. For black people if one black person makes idiodic statements or does something stupid or even criminal, it is projected onto all of us (black people, that is) I know that idiot poster is not representative of all or even most white people. I just wanted to make that point so the next time Al or Jesse are out there saying whatever that people understand we all speak for and represent ourselves. I think my sarcasm didn't translate well in this forum. It was not my intention to paint people with a broad brush. I am, however, still alarmed at how quickly the conversation here and on other message boards deteriorates especially around race issues. The anonimity of these posts seems to give people license to spew some vile stuff. Make your arguments, share your opinions, don't hold back but do it in a way that is respectful and intelligent and advances the conversation. That was all I was really saying.

19. Well, they can certainly fix her teeth, but they can't fix that tongue or her personality. She will do fine as long as they don't do close ups or she's not required to speak. Feel the same way about Celine Dion..............can't STAND to watch her or listen to her speak. YUCK!!!

21. I can totally respect and appreciate that 'simonesdaddy'. You definaly sound intelligent, i agree with how quick ppl are to turn things ugly because you can't see thier faces or actually get to them. I personally as a white woman rasing biracial children(yes i am married to their daddy,not daddys')feel that my childrens generation will hopefully be the ones who actually make the most difference. I adore lakisha and wish her all the best in the future, at least she doesn't have nasty feet stories posted like other idols, why do we care about their feet? and why is he still on the show, just like last year when chris got booted but kat, oh i just didn't like her....lol. I wish good luck to melinda and jordin. either could take it, but i prefer jordin since lakisha isn't in it anymore.

25. I am so happy that the rise in interracial marriages and consequently, interracial children, is surging in the US. I am white, but my fiance is biracial. I have noticed that some of the most beautiful people in the world are of mixed race. The more mixed people there are out there, the less racism there will be, because no one with a shred of dignity would dare project racism towards a certain race/group, if they belong tot hat race/group. Also, more mixing will lead to more respect for differences and a greater love for different cultures. Maybe people would be more accepting of each other???
